Monica is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who works with teens, emerging adults, adults, couples and families. She creates a warm, supportive environment where clients feel genuinely heard, respected, and safe to explore what’s bringing them to therapy.

She earned her Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University and is licensed in the state of Illinois. Monica is currently deepening her clinical training through the Psychodynamic Psychotherapy Program at the Chicago Psychoanalytic Institute, which she is expected to complete in May 2026.

Monica has experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and identities, including those navigating:
-
growth and transition
-
trauma
-
grief
-
gender dysphoria
-
low self-esteem
-
anxiety
-
depression

Monica also supports clients working through relationship concerns, family conflict, parenting stress, and workplace dynamics.

Monica’s approach is grounded in psychodynamic and family systems theories. She believes that therapy works best when the therapist meets each client where they are—not with a fixed agenda, but with openness, curiosity, and respect for the client’s own pace. Her goal is to build a strong, collaborative relationship that allows meaningful change to unfold over time.
