Succulent Close-Up

Getting Started

Reaching out for therapy can feel intimidating, especially if it's your first time. Our goal is to make the process as simple and supportive as possible. Whether you're looking for help with anxiety, OCD, trauma, depression, relationship concerns, or life transitions, we're here to guide you through each step.

Step 1: Reach Out

Complete our contact form. You don't need to know which therapist is right for you; we're happy to help.

We'll ask a few follow-up questions about:

  • What you'd like help with

  • Your scheduling preferences

  • Whether you're interested in in-person or virtual therapy

  • Insurance or payment questions

Step 3: Schedule Your First Appointment

Once you've chosen a therapist, we'll schedule your first appointment and send you secure electronic paperwork that you can complete before your session.

We'll also provide:

  • Office location or telehealth instructions

  • Appointment reminders

  • Information about fees and insurance benefits

If you know who you want to work with, you can book with them directly here.

Step 5: Begin Therapy

Therapy looks different for everyone.

Some clients benefit from short-term treatment focused on a specific challenge, while others choose longer-term therapy for ongoing growth and support.

Together, you and your therapist will determine a schedule and approach that best fits your goals.

Step 2: We'll Help You Find the Right Therapist

Finding the right therapist matters.

After learning more about what you're looking for, we'll recommend a therapist on our team whose experience, training, personality, and availability are the best fit for your needs.

If you already have someone in mind, you can request that therapist.

Step 4: Your First Session

Your first appointment is an opportunity to get to know one another.

During this session, your therapist will learn about:

  • What brings you to therapy

  • Your current concerns

  • Relevant personal history

  • Your goals for treatment

You'll also have plenty of time to ask questions. Together, you'll begin developing a plan that feels right for you.
