Marla Micor, LCSW, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who provides individual therapy to young adults and adults both in-person in Chicago and throughout Illinois via secure telehealth sessions. She specializes in supporting clients navigating anxiety, stress, identity development, life transitions, and emotional wellbeing.

Marla is a proud member of the LGBTQIA+ community and brings both lived experience and clinical expertise to her work. She offers a compassionate, affirming, and inclusive space where individuals can explore identity, belonging, and mental health without fear of judgment.

With a strong foundation in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based approaches, Marla helps clients build self-awareness, manage stress and anxiety, and develop more empowered relationships with their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Her approach is collaborative, person-centered, and deeply grounded in self-compassion and personal growth.

Marla earned her Bachelor’s in Social Work from Illinois State University and her Master’s in Social Work from the University of Illinois at Chicago, obtaining her LCSW shortly after. She has several years of experience working in diverse clinical settings.
